RECOVERY OF COSTS
Where a person successfully funds the defence of their case, it is possible to obtain at the conclusion of the case, an Order that the defence costs be paid from Central Funds. In such circumstances it is possible to make a claim to the Court Services’ National Taxing Team to claim back the costs that have been incurred in preparing the case.
It is at the discretion of the National Taxing Team as to how much of the costs incurred will be allowed, although any claim must be reasonable, however as we are experts and we offer an efficient service, we are usually able to recover at least the vast majority, if not all of the costs incurred.
